I’ve really had an urge to read lately and well seeing as your blog is amazing, I’m curious to know what are some of your favorite books?
Ahh, well, I will swear by Harry Potter forever, I think. But beyond that, I’m not entirely sure. To be honest (and this is going to make me sound kind of lame) I read a lot but I don’t actually remember most of what I read. I will get into a book and enjoy it, but once it’s over I move on to other things and rarely do I actually remember a feeling (say, dislike or extreme interest) associate with the literature I’ve read. That being said, in these past couple months I read Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro and I thought it was quite brilliant, and I read One Day by David Nicholls and it wasn’t as good, but it still was decent. I also enjoyed What Was Lost by Catherine O’Flynn, I guess. As well as No One Belongs Here More Than You by Miranda July.
I don’t know though, really. I recently got about a dozen books out of the library and I’ll let you know if any of them really speak to me.
